AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6671,
THE COMPREHENSIVE EONING ORDINANCE FDR THE
CITY OF MIAMI, RY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION FOR THE DADE COUNTY AUDITORIUM
SITE LOCATED AT 290i W. FLAGLER STREET:
"DNPLATTED", (THAT PORTION OWNED EY METROPOLITAN
DADE COUNTY AS PER SURVEY), EROM'R.,1 (SINGLE
FAMILY) TO Gtt (GOVERNMENT USE) , AND RY HARING
THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ONING.DISTRICT
MAP, MADE A PART OF. THE SAID ORDINAiNdE'No. 6871

SECTION 2 THEREOF; 8Y REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT;
AND CONTAINING A SEVERA$ILITY PROVISION,

WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its
meeting of January 7, 1976, Item No. 2, following an advertised
Hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 2-76 by a 7 to 0 Vote
recommending the Planning Department Petition for change of
Zoning. Classification as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the. Commission deems it advisable and in
the best interest of the'City of Miami and its inhabitants to
grant a change in zoning classification as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is
hereby amended by changing the, zoning classification for the

Dade County Auditorium Site located at 2901 West Flagler Street

"Unplatted", (that portion owned by Metropolitan Dade County as
26 per survey), from R-1,(Single Family), to GU (Government Use)
27 and by making the necessary changes in the zoning district map',
28 made a part of Ordinance No. 6871 by reference and description

in Article III, Section 2 thereof.
30 Section 2. All laws or parts of laws in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they
are in conflict,

The Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting of January 7,
1976, Item #2, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Reso-
lution`No. PAB 2-76 by.a 7 to 0 vote RECOMMENDING the Planning
Department petition for Change of Zoning Classification for
the Dade County Auditorium Site from R-1 (Single Family) to
GU (Government, Use) at 2901 W. 'F1ag1er Street, "UNPLATTED"(that
portion owned by Metropolitan Dade County as per survey).
Eighteen objections were received in the mail.
An ORDINANCE to provide for this request for approval has been
prepared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for con-
sideration of the City Commission.
