RESOLUTION NO.
76-235
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $5,500.00 FROM
THE 1972 PARKS FOR PEOPLE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BOND FUND TO PAY THE FINAL JUDGMENT IN THE CASE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI vs GISELE FASHIK, ET AL., CASE
NO. 74-21840, AKA AFRICAN SQUARE; AND AUTHORIZING
THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY THE SAID SUM TO
RICHARD P. BRINKER, CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF
DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is hereby ordered to deposit
the total sum of $5,500.00 into the registry of the court in the
above captioned case; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is required by statute to
comply with this court order within 20 days from the date of this
final judgment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BY IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the sum of $5,500.00 is hereby allocated
from the 1972 Parks for People Recreational Facilities Bond Fund;
Section 2. The Director of Finance be,and he is hereby,
authorized to pay the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Richard P. Brinker,
the sum of $5,500.00.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 26 day of FEBRUARY 1976.
