HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-76-0210SRS/ts 2/ .8/76 RESOLUTION NO. b-210 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED ALDI SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT AND ACCEPTING A COVENANT TO RUN WITH THE LAND POSTPOSING THE IMMEDIATE CONSTRUCTION OF ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND STANDARD CURB AND GUTTER, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT. "SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat, and WHEREAS, it was recommended that the owners of ALDI SUB- DIVISION execute a covenant to run with the land postponing the immediate construction of asphaltic concrete pavement and curb and gutter until required by the Department of Public Works, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE "D'OCUMENT INDEX ITEM NO. Section 1. The plat entitled ALDI SUBDIVISION eing a CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: subdivision in the S.E. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section 27, Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public, be and the same are, hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The covenant to run with the land executed by Mercedes Rodriquez postponing the immediate construction of asphaltic concrete pavement and standard curb and gutter until such time as required by the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida be accepted and recorded after the plat has been recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. Section 3. The City Manager and the City Clerk, both of the City of Miami, Florida are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Plat. 26 FEBRUARY PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of 1976. Cadastrra1 ALUI SUBDIVISION Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat 1731 N,W, 23 Street The Proposed Record Plat entitled ALUI SUBDIVISION is located between N.W. 23 Street and ?; . i•l. 23 Terrace and between 17th and 18th Avenues,. It is an unplatted tract having a total area of 0.288 of an acre and is zoned R-11 . This plat is being; forwarded to your office for City Commission action, The attached detailed report from the Department; of Public Works recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form. Also attached •are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: : (1) Form of Resolution accepting the Plat (2) Print: of proposed Recc_':i Plat (3) Agreement form pertaining to subdivision improvements (4) Covenant postpon i.ni :: ediate construction of certain subdivision improvements (5) Opinion of Title (6) Memorandum from the Department of Planning pertaining to landscaping requirements (7) Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances (8) Portion or City Atlas Sheet No. 19 showing property platted colored in red VEG :O J :met "SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" THE CITY OF MIAM tI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FEBRUARY 10, 1976 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF ALDI SUBDIVIDION A SUBDIVISION IN ,.THE CITY OF TMMIAMI, FLORIDA The accompanying Plat entitled ALDI SUBDIVISION was prepared by Thomas J. Kelly, Inc. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a o.288 acre tract of unplotted land located between N.W. 22 Street and 23 Terrace and between N.W. 17 and 18 Avenues. It :is zoned R-4. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards o`' tlic Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by Thomas J. Kelly, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with t;he plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (6) In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 54, Section 54-20, of The Code of The City of. Miami, a Cashier's Check in the amount of $2,200.00 has been tendered by the owner, Mercedes Rodriquez. This Cashier's Check has been deposited with the Director of Finance and will guarantee Page 1 of 2 "SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" the completion of the subdivision improvements according to the provisions of they Agreement between The City of Miami and the aforementioned Mercedes Rodriquez. The improvements required at the property platted are listed as follows: Landscaping, sidewalk, grading and shaping street shoulders and a sanitary sewer lateral. (7) Since there is no full width asphaltic concrete pavement or curb and gutter in the vicinity of the property platted, it is recommended that' the attached covenant be accepted postponing the immediate construction of these improvements until the area is more fully developed. (8) Storm drainage structures, permanent type bulkhead, and fill will not be required. Water mains and sanitary sewers have been previously placed and accepted. (9) The location of the property is shown colored in reel on the accompanying copy of a portion of City of Miami Atlas Sheet No. 19.
