A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION
OF DESIGN CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION FOR NEW FIRE
STATION NO. 6 -. 1974 AT A TOTAL COST OF $432,482.74;
AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF THE SCOPE OF THE CON-
TRACT IN THE NET AMOUNT OF $3,482.74; ALLOCATING
THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $3,482.74 FROM THE ACCOUNT
ENTITLED "FIRE FIGHTING & RESCUE FACILITY BOND
FUNDS"; AND. AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF
$47,221.42

FOLL 0 IN" WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Design Construction Corporation has furnished the re-
quired documents certifying that all bills for labor, materials,
etc., have been paid in full in completion of the contract
for construction of new Fire Station No. 6; and
WHEREAS, due to extra work not included in the original
contract it is necessary to increase the scope of the contract
in the net amount of $3,482.74; and
WHEREAS, the additional allocation of $3,482.74 is avail-
able from the account entitled "Fire Fighting & Rescue
"D'OCUIVIENI7 INDEX
Facility Bond Funds"; ITEM NO.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Design Con-
struction Corporation under contract dated January 24,1975
for the construction of NEW FIRE STATION NO. 6 - 1974 is
hereby accepted at a total cost of $432,482.74.
Section 2, The scope of the contract is hereby increased
in the net amount of $3,482.74.
Section 3. The additional amount of $3,482.74 is hereby
allocated from the account entitled "Fire Fighting & Rescue
FEB26
Facility Bond Funds",
Section 4. The proper officials of The City of Miami
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay
Design•Construction Corporation a balance of $47,221,42 as
full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with the contract for NEW
FIRE STATION NO. 6 - 1974.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26 day of FEBRUARY
1976.
