A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION
OF ELECTRIC POWER & SERVICE, INC. FOR THE CITY
HALL - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS- 1975 AT A TOTAL
COST OF S26,587.00; AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF THE
SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT IN THE NET AMOUNT OF $2,540.00;.
ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $2,540.00 FROM
SPECIAL REIMBURSEMENT FUNDS THE CITY HAS RECEIVED
UNDER THE LAW 92-500 "FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
ACT AMENDMENTS - 1972"; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL

FOLLOW"
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Electric Power & Service, Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor, materials,
etc., have been paid in full in completion of the contract
for electrical improvements at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, due to the necessity of providing electrical
service to proposed new roof -top air conditioning units for
the City Manager's office it was necessary to increase the
scope of the contract in the net amount of $2,540.00; and
WHEREAS, the additional allocation of $2,540.00 is avail-
able from Special Reimbursement Funds the City has received
under the Law 92-500 "Federal Pollution Control Act Amendments

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Electric Power
& Service, Inc, under contract dated May 19, 1975 for the
CITY HALL - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS - 1975 is hereby accepted
at a total cost of $26,587.00.
Section 2. The scope of the contract is hereby increased
in the net amount of $2,540,00,

Section 3. The additional amount of $2,540.00 is hereby
allocated from Special Reimbursement Funds the City has
received under the Law 92-500 "Federal Pollution Control Act
Amendments 1972".
Section 4. The proper officials of The City of Miami be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay Electric
Power & Service, Inc. a balance of $4,944.70 as full and
final payment for all work performed and all materials furn-
ished in connection with the contract for CITY HALL - ELECTRICAL
IMPROVEMENTS - 1975.

Hall. - EIECTR.ICAL IMPROVEMENTS - 1975. The project
consisted of providing and installing; a new electrical
main panel to serve City Hall.
It is now to order for the Commission to accept the work
and authorize final payment to the Contractor. Due to
extra electrical work it was necessary to increase the
scope of the contract in the net amount of $2,540. The
oxtra work necessitates an additional allocation of funds
in the amount of $2,5'W.an;d funds are available from
special Reimbursement Funds the City has received under the
Law 92-500 "Federal Pollution Control Act Amendments - 1972".
Thy: work was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE
ATTACHED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
ELECTRIC POWER & SERVICE, INC. FOR THE CITY HALL - ELECTRICAL
IMPROVEMENTS - 1975; AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE SCOPE
OF THE CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,540. ; ALLOCATING THE
ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $2,540. ; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT UP $4,944.70.
