Dear rir. Southern:
Thank you for sending me a copy of the City Commission's
resolution expressing support for tl~e Qranting of atrans-Atlantic
air route to Miami.
Earlier this week, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce
and the Governor and Secretary of Transportation for Florida were in
[~?ashington and we discussed this entire situation. I, along, with my
colleagues in the Florida congressional delegation, pledged our support
to do whatever possible to convince President Ford to reverse the negative
decision already issued by the Civil Aeronautics Board on this case.
