WHEREAS, City parks are used infrequently throughout the year for weddings and other social functions; and WHEREAS, a certain amount of damage is always incurred at these functions; and WHEREAS, in the establishment of a lowered rental fee, material and labor costs can hopefully be defrayed to some extent while also encouraging more frequent use of park facilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 39-16.2 of the Code ofthe City of Miami, Florida is hereby amended by repealing the aforesaid section and substituting therefor the following: "Sec. 39-1G.2. Fees for useiof Japanese Garden at Watson Park, and for use of all City Parks. The following rental fees for weddings and other social functions are hereby established for the use. of the Japanese Garden at Watson Park and for all city parks: (a) For city residents: Parties up to 50 persons $ 25' 51 to 100.persons $'50 101 or more persons '$ 75 -(U) For nonresidents: Parties up to 50 persons $ 50 51. to ' 100 persons $100 $150 101 or more persons Section 2, All ordinances, code sections or parts thereof 1976.
