Dear Mr. Sulivan:
This letter is to confirm that Sea Ventures organization and their vessel,
MARY E, are officially representing the Department of the Interior, National
Park Service, Biscayne National Monument. On November 20, 1975, the Na-
tional Park Service entered into a Cooperative Agreement with Sea Ventures,
a non-profit outdoor educational organization. The purpose of the agreement
is to allow expansion of the Sea Ventures environmental education program
with urban -oriented parks, whereby, inner-city youth are exposed to the
natural environment.
The MARY E will be conducting environmental education programs, through
the Dade County school system, in Biscayne National Monument. Uniformed
employees of the National Park Service will work in close cooperation with
representatives of Sea Ventures. Courtesies you are able to offer in
support of this program would be appreciated.
Thank you for your service and interest in the Bicentennial of our United
States and programs of the National Park Service.
Sincerely yours,
.o\,UTION
