Resolution Request - Allocation
of Funds and Approval of Design
for Central Miami Paris (Site 304)
Community Building
The City of Miami, under the Parks for People Bond
Program, is developin4 a park on former HUD Site
304, Central Miami Park. Pursuant to Resolution
No. 77-to , the City ttanager has entered into an
Agreement with Dade County litJU for utilization of
HUD's Consultant to rit,s'�n .;tnd construct an expanded
'-crre.ttion ;t .,.r :: . ,r
at h;'ri:.
The Consultant, Wahl Snyder & Associates has completed
the preliminary design of the building and has received
approval from the Department of Parks and Recreation,
at an estimated cost of $100, 000.
It is now in order for the City Commission to allocate
funds in the amount of $100, 000 for the building
expansion, and approve the design such that construction
can be expedited.
THE DEPARTMEN r OF PARKS AND RECREATION
RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION OF THE A TTACHED
RESOLUTION ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS AND APPROVING
THE DESIGN.
