WiII.I?LAS, pursuant to public: notice, sealed bids were received
October 31, 1977 for the furnishing or concrete Furniture and waste con--
tainor;; for the Department of Community Development; and
WHEREAS, invitations uerc mailed to thirty-two potential sup-
pliers and five bids were received; and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in the Federal
Community Development Block Grant Fund; and
WHEREAS, this material uill be used by the Department of Com-
munity Development for the furnishing of benches and game tables at Culmer
Mini Park and collection of litter and trash throughout the City; and
IJIiLDCAS, the City Hanauer and the Department of Community
Development recommend that the bid received from Hubert H. Hanson & Associates
be accepted a.; the most advantageous bid to the City;

Recommendation for Resolution and
Award of Bid: Concrete Furniture
and Waste Containers
Tabulation
Pursuant to Public Notice, scaled bids were received
October 31, 1977 for furnishing concrete furniture
and waste containers for the Department. of Community
Development.
Invitations acre mailed to thirty -too potential sup-
pliers and five bids ucre received as per the attached
tabulation.
Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from the
Federal Community Development Block Grunt Fund.
The concrete furniture, benches and game tables will
be installed at Culmcr Mini Park. The ua Le containers
will be installed throughout the City for the collection
of litter and trash.
It is recommended that the award be made and a resolution
be prepared accepting the most advantageous bid as re-
ceived from Hubert M. IParn:,on <i Associates for furnishing
Items orle through six, cenuCnt furniture and waste con-
tainers, f or the Department of Community Development at
a total cost of $47,U65.OU.
The Depart.niert. of Community Development concurs with
this recommendation.
