A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ROSSER ELECTRIC
COMPANY, INC. IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $110,675
FOR ROBFAZ1 E. LEE - SPORTS FIELD LIGHTING; ALLOCAT-
ING SAID AMOUNT FROM TILE FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUND (2ND YEAR); ALLOCATING FROM SAID
FUND $12,174 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE;
ALSO ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $2,213
TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING,
TESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID
FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received September 30, 1977
for the ROBERT E. LEE - SPORTS FIELD LIGHTING; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $110,675
bid of Rosser Electric Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bid and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from the
Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund (2nd Year);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The September 30, 1977 bid of Rosser Electric
Company, Inc. in the proposed amount of $110,675 for the project
entitled ROBERT E. LEE - SPORTS FIELD LIGHTING, namely Base Bid
of Proposal, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $110,675 is hereby allocated
from the Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund (2nd Year)
to cover the cost of the said contract.
Section 3. The amount of $12,174 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid Fund to cover the cost of Project Expense.
Section 4. The amount of $2,213 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid Fund to cover the cost of such items as adver-
tising, testing laboratories, and postage.
