A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OCTOBER 10, 1977 DEED OF
DEDICATION FROM BOULEVARD NATIONAL BANK, TRUSTEE,
CONVEYING A 5 FOOT STRIP OF RESERVED ZONED WIDTH
RIGHT OF WAY FROM A LOT LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE
OF N.W. 2ND AVENUE, BETWEEN N.W. 57TH AND N.W.
58TH STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
PROPERTY MANAGER TO DULY RECORD SAME.

WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
proposed the construction of sidewalk, among other improvements,
at the subject location; and
WHEREAS, in order for this project to proceed in an orderly
fashion, it became necessary that the only undedicated strip of
reserved zoned width right-of-way, being the subject 5-foot strip
of private land, be acquired by the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, this requirement was met when the owner thereof
tendered an executed deed conveying same to the City of Miami,
thereby permitting said sidewalk to be constructed in a straight
and contiguous line; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid deed is now in order for acceptance
by the Commission of the City of Miami, and to have it duly
recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The October 10, 1977 Deed of Dedication conveying
to the City of Miami, for sidewalk construction proposed by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, the east 5-feet of
Lot 26, Block 1 of Railroad Shops Inter -School Tract, according
to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3, at Page 192 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, be, and the same is
hereby, accepted.

Section 2. The Property Manager of the City of Miami,
Florida, is hereby authorized and directed to record the afore-
said deed in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.

Resolution Accepting Deed for
5-Foot Right -of -Way Dedication
on West Side of N.W. 2 Avenue
Between N.W. 57 and 58 Sts.
Resolution - Copy of Deed
Please place on the December 8, 1977 City Commission Agenda a Resolution
accepting the October 10, 1977 Deed (copy attached) from Boulevard
National Bank, Trustee, conveying to the City of Miami the East 5 feet
of Lot 26, Block 1, of Railroad Shops Inter -School Tract (3-n2); and
authorizing and directing the Property Manager of the City of Miami to
record same in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Pertinent.: Information
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (H.U.D.) has
proposed highway improvements for a portion of the west side
of N.W. 2nd Avenue between N.W. 57 and N.U. 58 Streets.
In order for this project to proceed in an orderly fashion,
however, it became necessary that the only undedicated strip
of reserved zoned width right-of-way, as above legally
described, be acquired by the City of Miami.
The requirement was met when the owner thereof tendered an
executed deed conveying same to the City of Miami. This was
a voluntary dedication as the owner requested that the line
of sidewalk proposed as part of H.U.D.'s improvement program
for this side of N.W. 2nd Avenue, be straight and contiguous
throughout.
It is now in order for the City Commission to accept the
aforesaid deed and to have it duly recorded.
