A RESOLUTION ORDERING MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE) AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY
AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A
PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS MANOR SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE) ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a Sanitary sewer improvement identified as
MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE) shall be
made under the provisions of Section 56 of the Charter of The City
of Miami, as amended, said IMPROVEMENT to consist of:
Laying an 8 inch or larger Vitrified Clay and/or Iron Pipe

Laying six-inch (6") cast iron pipe laterals, as required to the
lots and parcels of land which abut upon the abovementioned streets,
including the lots and parcels of land described in Section 2 hereof;
together with necessary manholes, other appurtenances, pump stations,
outfall, connections to existing sewers, relaying street pavement,
sidewalks, and curb and gutters where such relaying is made necessary
by this improvement.
Section 2. Special Assessments for a portion of the cost of said
MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE) shall be levied
upon all the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the above -
mentioned streets, including the following described lots and parcels
of land, and such lots and parcels of land are hereby designated
MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE).
To each of the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the
abovementioned streets, including the following described lots and
parcels of land to the property line of which a sewer lateral or
laterals is laid, will be assessed the average cost of that lateral
or laterals, under the provisions of Section 56 of the Charter of The
City of Miami, as amended:

Section 3. This IMPROVEMENT shall be designated in all proceed-
ings and assessments as MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR 5437-C
(CENTERLINE), and the above -described properties, including all the
lots and parcels of land abutting the streets described in Section 1
hereof against which assessments shall be made for a portion of the
cost thereof, hereunder. shall be designated as MANOR SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR 5437-C (CENTERLINE).

Resolution Ordering MANOR
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-5437 C (centerline sewer)
In a continuing effort to serve Miami, plans and
specifications are being prepared for the center-
line sewers in the area bounded by N.W. 12 Avenue,
N.W. 46 Street, N.W. 17 Avenue and the Airport
Expressway.
To serve this area, the Department of Public Works
has designed the MANOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-5437 C (centerline sewer)as an assessable
Improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION
OF THE RESOLUTION ORDERING THE MANOR SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5437 C (centerline sewer).

Manor Sanitary Sewer Improvement
SR 5437C, CIP No. 84.57 C
Job Scope: Construction of a sanitary sewer improvement
by private contractor under contract with the
City of Miami at an estimated total cost of
$750,000.
Reason for Work: Part of the City's continuing program to
provide sanitary sewers throughout the City
of Miami. This district is bounded on the east
by N.J. 12 Avenue, on the North by N.W. 46 St.,
on the west by N.W. 17 Avenue, and on the south
by the Airport X-way.
Size of Area: Approximate Acres - 95
Approximate Population - 2800
Source of Funds: G.O. Bond - sanitary sewers
Project History: This improvement .ill provide sanitary sewer
service in a portion of the area designated
as Manor in the original 1976 Sanitary G.O.B.
Program. The Manor area was divided into
three separate contracts to permit bidding by
a larger number of contractors.
