RESOLUTION NO. 77-T2
A RESOLUTION DECLARING LIMA, PERU TO
BE A SISTER CITY OF THE CITY OF MIA?LI,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, it is only through mutual sharing of
information and ideals that true friendship can be maintained;
and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Lima, Peru, and Miami,
'Florida, desire identity with one another in the family of the
Americas; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of establish-
ing Lima, Peru, as a Sister City of the City of Miami, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Lima, Peru, is hereby declared a Sister
City to the City of Miami, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14 day of DECEMBER , 1977.
