A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF DIANNE
SMITH TO THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the term of office of Mrs. Dianne Smith, covered by
Off"Street Parking Board Resolution No. 76-530 and City Commission Reso-
lution No. 76-623, will expire on December 2, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the efforts, time and leadership exhibited by Mrs.
Smith have contributed to the growth and development of this area; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Smith was reappointed to the Off -Street Parking
Board on November I, 1977 by Off -Street Parking Board Resolution No.
77-557; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that
this reappointment be confirmed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The reappointment of Dianne Smith to the Off -
Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, for a five-year term
from December 2, 1977 to December 1, 1982, is hereby confirmed, pursuant
to Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this -ZOTH day of NOVEMBER , 1977.

Draft of Proposed Resolution
At today's meeting of the Off -Street Parking Board, our Resolution
No.77-557 was passed, reappointing Mrs. Dianne Smith to the Off -
Street Parking Board for a five-year term, beginning December 2,
1977, and recommending to the City Commission that Mrs. Smith's
reappointment be confirmed.
Please ask the Law Department to prepare the appropriate resolution
and include this item on your November loth agenda. A rough draft
of the proposed resolution is attached.

A RESOLUTION REAPPOI IIT I NG DIANNE SMITH TO THE OFF-STREET
PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND RECOMMENDING TO THE
CITY COMMISS ION THAT THIS REAPPOINTMENT BE CONFIRMED.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Dianne Smith's term of office as a member of
the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami will expire on December
2, 1977; and
WHEREAS, a member shall be named and appointed by the remaining
members of the Board, subject to conf irmat ion by the Commission, for a
term of five years; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Smith has been performing her duties and obl
gatlons to a conscientious and devoted manner; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami
that Mrs. Smith be reappointed:
NOJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Dianne Smith is hereby reappointed as a member of
the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, pursuant to
Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter, for a term of five years which
will expire on December 2, 1982,
Section 2. The Board hereby recommends to the City Comniss ion
that the reappointment of Dianne Smith be confirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1977.
