A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF H. GORDON
WYLLIE TO THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the term of office of Mr. H. Gordon Wyllie, covered by
Off -Street Parking Board Resolution No.76-519 and City Commission Resolution
No.76-266, will expire on December 2, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the efforts, time and leadership exhibited by Mr. Wyllie
have contributed to the growth and development of this area; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie was reappointed to the Off -Street Parking
Board on November 1, 1977 by Off -Street Parking Board Resolution No.77-558;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that
this reappointment be confirmed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The reappointment of H. Gordon Wyllie to the Off -
Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, for a five-year term
fronlDecember 2, 1977 to December 1, 1982, is hereby confirmed, pursuant to
Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter.

Draft of Proposed Resolution
At today's meeting of the Off -Street Parking Board, our Resolution
No.77-553 was passed, reappointing Mr. H. Gordon Wyllie to the Off -
Street Parking Board for a five-year term, beginning December 2,
1977, and recommending to the City Commission that Mr. Wyllie's
reappointment be confirmed.
Please ask the La1, Department to prepare the appropriate resolution
and include this item on your November loth agenda. A rough draft
of the proposed resolution is attached.

RESOLUTION NO. 77-558
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING H. GORDON WYLLIE TO THE OFF-STREET
PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MiAMI AND RECOMMENDING TO THE
CITY COMMISSION THAT THiS REAPPOINTMENT BE CONFIRMED
WHEREAS, Mr. H. Gordon Wyilie's term of office as a member of the
Off0Street Parking Board of the City of Miami will expire on December 2, 1977;
and
WHEREAS, a member shall be named and appointed by the remaining
members of the Board, subject to confirmation by the Commission, for a term
of five years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie has been performing his duties and obligations
In a conscientious and devoted manner; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that Mr.
Wyllie be reappointed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. H. Gordon Wyllie is hereby reappointed as a member of
the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, pursuant to
Section 23-A.I of the City of Miami Charter, for a term of five years which
will expire on December 2, 1982.
Section 2. The Board hereby recommends to the City Commission
that the reappointment of H. Gordon Wyllie be confirmed.'
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1977.
