A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 11E CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED D'ED TRANSFERRING TO
DADE COUNTY A SMALL TRACT OF LAND ENCOMPASS-
ING APPROXIMATELY .03 ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF GRAND AVENUE PARK ADJACENT TO THE
INTERSECTION OF GRAND AVENUE AND JEFFERSON
STREET.
WHEREAS, the County intends to rebuild Grand Avenue
Douglas Road to U.S. 1; and
WHEREAS, the rebuilding requires the acquisition
of property both public and private; and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the redevelopment
according to the County's plan, it is necessary to dedicate a
portion of the Northeast corner of Grand Avenue Park; and
WHEREAS, attached to this resolution is a deed which
describes the property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section I. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute the attached quit -claim deed conveying certain City -owned
property to Dade County, Florida, for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00);
said property encompassing approximately .03 acres at the Northeast
corner of Grand Avenue Park adjacent to the intersection of Grand
Avenue and Jefferson Street.

THIS QUIT CLAIM DEED, Made this day of ,A. D. 19 , by
and between THE CITY OF MIAMI, a Municipal corporation of the State of Florida, in the
County of Dade, party of the first part, and the County of Dade, a body Corporate, and a
Political Subdivision of the State of Florida, and its successors in interest, party of
the second part.
WITNESSETH . --
That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of 0ne
Dollar to it in hand paid by the party o,f the second part, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and for other and further good and valuable considerations, does hereby
convey and quit -claim unto the paeey of the second part, and its successors in interest
all the right, title, interest. claim or demand of the party of the first part, in and
to the following described laid, situate, lying and being in the County of Dade, State
of Florida, to -wit:
That portion of Tract A of GRAND AVENUE PARK, according; to the plat thereof
recorded in Plat Zook 53 at Face 27 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, being more particularly described as follows: Commmence at the
Northwest corner of said Tract A; thence run `i 35°16'OO" T1 along the 'forth
line of said Tract A for a distance of 92.04 feet to the Point of Beginning
of the herein described parcel; thence continue N 35°16'06' E along the
North line of. said Tract A for a distance of 133.10 feet to the point of
curvature of a circular curve to the right; thence run Southeanterly to
Southerly along, the arc of said circular curve to the right having a radius
of 25.0O feet, through a central angle of 73•55'51", for an arc distance of
34.44 feet: thence run 5° •,'10` W for a diot3nce of 36.73 feet to the
point of curvature of 1 circular curve to the left; thence run :]csterly along
the arc of said circular curve to the left having a rrdiu3 of 1095.97, through
a central angle of 9.15'44", for an arc distance of 177.16 feet to a point
of tangency with the ':orth line of raid Tract A and to the Point of ieginning.

recorded in Plat Book 58 at Page 27 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, being more particularly described as follows; Commence at the
Northwest corner of said Tract A; thence run N 85°16'06" E along the North
line of said Tract A for a distance of 92.04 feet to the Point of Beginning
of the herein described parcel; thence continue N 85°16'06" E along the
North line of said Tract A for a distance of 188.10 feet to the point of
curvature of a circular curve to the right; thence run Southeasterly to
Southerly along the arc of said circular curve to the right having a radius
of 25.00 feet, through a central angle of 78°55'51", for an arc distance of
34.44 feet; thence run N 85°28'10" W for a distance of 36.73 feet to the
point of curvature of a circular curve to the left; thence run Westerly along
the arc of said circular curve to the left having a radius of 1095.92, through
a central angle of 9°15'44", for an arc distance of 177.16 feet to a point
of tangency with the North line of said Tract A and to the Point of Beginning.
It is understood that the figure stated above is compensation in full
for the cost to relocate the landscaping and other improvements located in the
parcel area.
It is further understood that the land will be given to Dade County
without cost by Quit Claim Deed.
I understand that this offer is subject to approval of the Board of
County Commissioners and it can be accepted only by payment to me. I agree to
vacate this property and deliver possession within 30 days after I am paid unless
I have written consent from the County to an extension.
In consideration of payment to me by Dade County of $1.00, the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, I agree not to withdraw this offer sooner than
90 days after the date of this Option.
