A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAMIAMI PLANT SYSTEMS, INC.
IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $16, 344 .48 FOR THE FLAGLER
STREET LANDSCAPING - 1977; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
OF $16,344.48 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT HCND FUNDS" TO COVER THE CONTRACT
COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF
1,797.JTO C VER TH h COST CFPROJECT
EXPENSE;
ALI.iO'CATIP;G FROM SAID ACCOUNT' TILL AMOUNT OF $327 . 00
TO COVER TEE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING,
TESTING LA:CRATORI.ES, POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING TIIF
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CCNTF ACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed Lids were received October 21, 1977
for FLAGLER STREET LANDSCAPING - 1.97 7 ; and
WHEREAS, the City YanaC;er reports that the $16,344.48
bid of Tamiami Plant Systems, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid and
recommends that a Contract be awarded to :;aid firm; and

Section 2. That the October 21, 1977 bid of Tamiami Plant
Systems, Inc. in the proposed amount of t16,344.48 for the project
entitled FLAGLER STREET LANDSCAPING - 1977, for the Total Base Bid of
Proposal be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated
therein.
Section 2. That the account of $16,344.48 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Highway Improvement Bond
Funds" to cover the proposed cost of the Contract.
Section 3. That the amount of I,797. `%2 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of
Project Expense which includes enlrineering, survey: and inspection
work performed Ly City Forces.
