RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF DICK MORTON
: �?C IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $10, S76 , 00 FOR
THE BUENA VISTA C.D. SANITARY SEWER MODIFICA
TIONS PHASE II = BID "C"; WITH FUNDS THEREFOR
PROGRAMMED AND BUDGETED UNDER THE "COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM" FOR THE CONTRACT, FOR
PROJECT EXPENSE AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM
WHEREAS, sealed bids Were received September 28 1977
the BUENA VISTA C,D, SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS PHASE II -
BID "C"; and'
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports the $10,876,00 bid
of Dick Morton, Inc, is the lowest responsible bid and recommends
that a contract be awarded to ,paid firm; and
WHEREAS, funds have been programmed and budgeted under
the "Community Development Program" for the proposed amount of
the contract, for project expense, and for such items as adver-
tising, testing* laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
INDEX
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: "DOCUMENT TC,f)
Section 1. The September 28, 1. MtOJ Morton,
nc. in the proposed amount of, $10,876.00 for the project
entitled BUENA VISTA C.D. SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS -
PHASE II - BID "C", namely Bid "C" of the Proposal, based on
urn it pr•ic.. is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $10,876.00 is hereby
rogrammed from funds to be received from the U. S. Department
Housing and Urban Development tnrough its obligation to pay
the City of Miami through the City's Community Development
Program to cover the cost of the said contract.
Section 3, The amount of $1,196.00 is hereby programmed
21r,ough the "Community Development Program" to cover the cost of
Project Expense and is also hereby authorized,
