A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT A GRANT AWARD IN THE SUM OF
$ 45,000 FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPART-
MENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI'S CHILD DA\CARE PROGRAM, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
NECESSARY CONTRACT(S) AND/OR AGREEMENT(S)
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE SAID PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Manager or his representative has
applied for a grant from the State of Florida, Department of
Community Affairs, for the City of Miami's Child Day Care
Program; and
WHEREAS, this program will expand or improve the deli'ry
of municipal services to the residents of the City of Miami; -

WHEREAS sufficient City Funds have been identified from
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to meet all requirements for:match
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF IMIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to ac-
cept a grant award in the sum of $45,000 from the State of Florida,
Department of Community Affairs, for the City of Miami's Child Day
Care Program;
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the necessary contract(s) and/or agreement(s) to implement the afore-
said program.

Department of Community Affairs Trust Fund - Grant Award,
