A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEEDS OF DEDICATION
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF MIAMI CERTAIN STRIPS
OF RESERVED ZONED WIDTH RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING
N.W. 2ND AVENUE BETWEEN N.W. 5TH TO N.W. 11TH
STREETS FOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT, DESIGNED AND
TO BE COMPLETED BY DADE COUNTY, THE COST BEING
BORNE EQUALLY BY THE CITY OF MIAMI AND DADE
COUNTY THROUGH THE APPROPRIATION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT GRANTS; AND DIRECTING THE PROPER
OFFICIAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO RECORD SAME
IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the design and development of N.W. 2nd Avenue has
been proposed by Dade County with the cost thereof agreed to be
shared equally by the City of Miami, through funds obtained from
Community Development grants; and
WHEREAS, there are previously undedicated strips of reserved
zoned width right-of-way along N.W. 2nd Avenue which are needed
in order for Dade County to proceed with this improvement; and
WHEREAS, in further cooperating with Dade County, the City
of Miami requested and obtained deeds of dedication from seven
appertaining property owners, conveying to the City of Miami cer-
tain of the required strips of land; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission to accept
said deeds and to have them recorded in the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: "DOCUMENT INDEX„

In addition, the City of Miami agreed to seek deeds of dedication
conveying previously undedicated strips of reserved zoned width
right -of -sway along N. W. 2nd Avenue needed in order to proceed
with this project.
Of the abutting owners contacted, seven Deeds of dedication convey-
ing the necessary right -of -may were received and they are now in
order for acceptance by the City Commission.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION OF THE
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEEDS OF DEDICATION (COPIES AND DRAWINGS
ATTACHED) FROM SEVEN PROPERTY OWNERS CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
