A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION
OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE OF 70 FOR RAFAEL CAMPI, INTERPRETER
CLERK, DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, EFFECTIVE AUGUST 28i 1977,
THROUGH AUGUST 27, 1978, WITH PROVISION THAT IN THE EVENT OF
A ROLLBACK OR LAYOFF, MR. CAMPI, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR EMPLOYEE,
WOULD BE AFFECTED.
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board, on September 6, 1977, unanimously
tedommended the approval of employment past the age of 70 for RAFAEL CAMPI,
Interpreter Clerk, Department of Police: and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the physical con—
dition of said RAFAEL CAMPI is satisfactory for continued employment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The granting of a one year extension of employment past
the a;c of 70 for RAFAEL CAMPI, Interpreter Clerk, Department of Police, effective
.August 28, 1977 through August 27, 1978, is hereby ratified and approved, with the
06Vision that in the event of a rollback or layoff, Mr. Campi, rather than a junior
--:tlployee would be affected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23RD day of SEPTEMBER , 1977.

Request for Resolution
The Civil Service hoard, at its meeting of September 6, 1977, approved one (1)
year's extension of his employment for Rafael Campi, Interpreter Clerk, Department
of Police.
It is respectfully requested that a Resolution be adopted extending Mr. Campi's
employment from August 23, 1977 to August 28, 1978.
