WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No* 8589 on November 11, 1976, as amended, establishing revenues and appropriations for the fiscal year 1976-77; and WHEREAS, the Olympia Building at 174 East Plagler Street, Miami, Florida, is owned by the City of Miami, which has the responsibility to perform maintenance and upkeep as required; and WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8435 on July 31, 1975, authorizing the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami to administer the City facility known as Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building; and WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8560 on July 1, 1976, approving appropriations for the operation and maintenance of Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building of the City of Miami for fiscal year 1976-77; and WHEREAS, the Dade County Tax Collection Division has submitted ,a bill showing Real Estate tax due for Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building in the amount of $9,000; and WHEREAS, unexpended funds are available in the appropriation for the Police Department in the amount of $9,000; NOW'* TBJ REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION i)F THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: NOTE; All figures are rounded to the next dollar. • fir, n.-F Section 1, Station 1 of Ordinance No, 1319 adopted Seypmber 11, 1976, as Winded, the Annuli Appropriations Ordinance for fiscal year 197t' 7P, is hereby further amended in the following part eularse "Section 1, The following appropriations are tirade for the tarrying out of the+muntctpal purposes of the City of Ward, Florida, for the fiscal year 1976-77, Including the payment of principal .and interest of all General Obligation Bonds." The foregoing ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for. the preservation of peace, health, safety and property of the City of Miami, and to meat appropriations made. Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a four -fifths vote of the members of the Commission.
