AN ORDINANCE APPROVING EXPENDITURES REQUIRED
BY THE DEPARTMENT OP oPP-STREt1T PAR ING FOP
THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OP GUSMAN HALL
AND THE OLYMPtA BUtLa1NG OP 'TItE CITY OP MIAMI
FCR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1977
AND ENDING SPETEMBER 30, 197S; AHD ALSO APPROV-
ING THE ENUMERATED SOURCES OF minus FROM SAID
OPERATION; 'CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Charter requires that
no later than one month before the end of each fiscal year, the
Director of the Department of Off -Street Parking, with the approval
of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of tiami, shall prepare
and submit to the City Commission, a budget estimate of expenditures
and revenues for the ensuing fiscal year for approval by the Com-
mission; and
t,1"HtREAS, Ordinance No. 8435 was adopted by the City
Commission on duly 31, 1975, authorizing the Off -Street Parking Board
of the City of Miami to administer the City facility known as Gusman
Hall and the Olympia Office Building; and
WHEREAS, the Off -Street Parking Board has prepared and
submitted to the City Commission a separate budget estimate of the
Board's expenditures and revenues for the operation and maintenance of
Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building for the fiscal year 1977-78; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and approves
the aforesaid separate operating budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The expenditures to be made by the Depart-
mnent of off -Street Parking for the operation and maintenance of Gusman
Hall and the Olympia Building of the City of Miami, as set forth in
Schedule A attached hereto, for the fiscal year ending September 30,
1978, are hereby approved together with the enumerated sources of
revenue, as set torth in Schedule B attached hereto.

Section 2, The Director of the Department
Street Parking is hereby authorited to rake transfers between the
detailed accounts comprising any of the amounts appropriated in
the budget, in order that available and unreguired balances in
any such accounts may be used for other necessary and proper pur-
poses.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances,
insofar as they are inconsistent with or in conflict with the pro-
visions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. If any section, part of section, para-
graph, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance shall be held to be
unconstitutional, or void, the remaining provisions of this ordinance
shall, nevertheless, remain ih full force and effect.
