RESOLUTION NO. 7 7 - 7 2
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-630,
WHICH AUTHORIZED THE CONDEMNATION OF THE
PLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY PROPERTY BOUNDED
EY BISCAYNE BAY ON THE EAST, BISCAYNE BOULEVARD
ON THE WEST, PORT BOULEVARD ON THE SOUTH AND
NORTHEAST 9TH STREET, AS EXTENDED, ON THE NORTH.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed and adopted
Resolution No.77-630 on the 28th day of July, 1977, authorizing
a condemnation action; and
WHEREAS, said resolution was prepared by this department
in conjunction with counsel who will have no responsibility for
this condemnation action; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has selected the law firm
of Frates Floyd Pearson Stewart Richman & Greer to represent the
City in this condemnation action; and
WHEREAS, said attorneys have determined that they should
prepare the resolution authorizing the condemnation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 77-630, which authorized
the condemnation of the Florida East Coast Railway property bounded
by Biscayne Bay on the east, Biscayne Boulevard on the west, Port
Boulevard on the south and Northeast 9th Street, as extended, on
the north, be and the same is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3TH day of SEPTEMBER , 1977.
