A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ANTONIO t IOLINA FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE CITY OF MIAt•1I COUNTRY CLUB FOOD CON-
CESSION FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, WITH A FIVE (5)
YEAR OPTION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH IHE TERMS AND CON-
DITIONS CONTAINED IN THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS bids were advertised and received on July 13, 1977 fot
`:`the food and beverage concession rights and facilities at the City of
Miami Country Club, 650 Curtiss Parkway, Miami Springs, Florida for a
term of five years beginning on November 15, 1977 and ending November 14,
1982 with the additional provision that the term of the lease can be
extended for an additional term of five years if, in the sole judgment
of the City Manager, the operations of the lessee during the initial term
have been satisfactory as regards quality, service, prices to consumers,
cleanliness and other considerations; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to seventy-nine potential sup-
pliers and two bids were received from the following:

WHEREAS, the bid of Antonio Molina was the most advantageous
bid to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Parks and
Recreation recommend the acceptance of the bid submitted by Antonio
Molina;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMt1ISSION OF THE CITY
OF E IIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City manager is hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a lease agreement with Antonio Molina for the food and
beverage concession rights and facilities at the City of Miami Country
Club for a period of five years, beginning on November 15, 1977 and end-
ing November 14, 1982 with the additional provision that the term of the
lease can be extended for an additional term of five years if, in the
sole judgment of the City Manager, the operations of the lessee during
the initial term have been satisfactory as regards quality, service,
prices to consumers, cleanliness and other considerations,

bidders - hope this works out okay and potential bidders
will be getting the whole package from the City Clerk as
stated in the advertisement - I was told that this had to
be out and returned to the City by July 13th - Mr. Howard
is out of town for 2 days and Mr. Heggy is requesting this.

Country Club
Pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids uere received July 13) 1977
for the leasing of a food concession at the City of (Miami Country
Club for the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Invitations were mailed to seventy-nine potential suppliers and
two bids uere received as follows:

Virgilio Capote 18% $18,000.
• The proposal sent to potential bidders required the following:
'1. Alterations and improvements to be made of at least $10,000.00.
2. General category of food and beverages to be served.
3. Affidavit indicating bidder has a record free from pending law
suits and criminal activities.
Mr. Molina stated a total of $33,000 investment to alter and improve
uhile (Mr. Capolc did not indicate any improvements or any specific
investment.
Mr. CapoLu submitted a partial menu indicating he uould serve break-
fast, lunch and dinner without a price list. Mr. Molina submitted a
complete menu shoving food and beverages and their prices.
Mr. Molina complied uith the request for the affidavit referred to in
3 above, but Mr. Caputo did not.
