WHEREAS, Grove house, Inc. is a community Art Center and
Cooperative that has been in existence for
in the City of 'liami; and
WHEREAS, during that seventeen (17)

providing the City of Miami with a form of national advertising
through its advertisements in major national magazines and

Personnel
Consulting Services, Fundraising $ 1,500.00
Facilities
Rent; one-half of the annual amount 3,000,00 •
of $6,000.00
Operations
Publicity; one-half of anticipated 12
month need including printing,
pamphlet design and preparation,
event announcements and postage 4,000,00
Consumable Supplies 1,500.00

$2,400 for the annual rent of an automatic

WHtREAS, the Director of the Office of Community Affairs
eeOtnmends that a $8200,00 award be provided to Grove House,
Inc. from the budgeted appropriation for Quality of Life Pro-
grams because of the public purpose served by this agency,
with the recommendation of an immediate allocation based upon
the critical nature of the financial situation facing the said
agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 1 Y THt COMMISSION OP <<T
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The sum of $8200,00 is hereby allocated for'•
payment to Grove House, Inc., a community Art Center and
Cooperative, from Special. Programs and Accounts -Special Community
Programs, Quality of Life Program.
