::ARESOLUTION ACCEPTING PHASE IT, STAGE B
(CONTRACT DOCUMENT STAGE) OF THE WORK BEING
ACCOMPLISHED BY THE GROVE GROUP UNDER THEIR
CONTRACT WITH THE CITY FOR REDEVELOPMENT
AND MODERNIZATION OF DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM
AND ITS IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami by Resolution
Not /b..337 adopted March 25, 1976 authorized and directed the City
Manager to negotiate an Agreement with The Grove Group for pro
fessional architectural, engineering) and planning services in
connection with modernization of the Dinner Key Recreation Center/Ex-
position Hall; and
WHEREAS) an Agreement between the City and The Grove Group
was made and executed on April 9, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami, on October 14,
1976, accepted PHASE I of the work done by The Grove Group under the
aforementioned Agreement, said PHASE I being a "Study, Analysis,
Conceptual Design and Report as to the Uses of the Auditorium"; and
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami, on December 16,
1976, accepted PHASE IT, STAGE A of the work done by The Grove Group
under the aforementioned Arreement, said PHASE II, STAGE A being
the "Design Development" stage; and
WHEREAS, The Grove Group has now completed the next step
as;oiztlined in the aforementioned Agreementi.'which is PHASE II STAGE B
(Contract Document Stage); and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Agreement require City Commission
acceptance of the work accomplished under PHASE II, STAGE B;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Contract Document work done by The
Grove Group under PHASE II, STAGE B of their Agreement with the City
da0., Apr1.1. 9, 1976 is hereby accepted.
