BID "A" (HIGHWAYS),
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated DeceMber 29, 1976
betWeen the City of Miami and Marks BrotherS CompanY; and
WHEREAS) the work has been satisfactorily completed and
arks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
Certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid
in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final -
payment made to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Marks Brothers
Company for NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT 1! -4359 -
BID "A" (HIGHWAYS) at a total cost of $217,696.10 is hereby
approved.
Section 2. The proper officials or the City of Miami are
rierel.2y authorized to pay $24,612.85 to Marks Brothers Company as

and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT - BID "A" (HIGHWAYS).

HIGHWAYS
Marks Brothers Company has completed the project consisting
of the rebuilding of North Bayshore Drive between 13-15
Streets, N.E. 14 Street and 14 Terrace between Biscayne
Boulevard and North Ba;shore Drive and N.F., 13 Terrace west
of North Bayshore Drive. This contract consisted of the
construction of asphaltic pavor,nt, concrete curbs and
r;utters3 concrete sidewalk and bicycle paths. Accomranyinr,
1an1apin:7 and drainaze work was done by other contractors,

pletd con-r1ct amount Is $217,Gq6.1f1 and it was completed
on time,
