RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK PERFORMED
-Y HOLLAND PAVING COMPANY, INC. AT A TOTAL COST OF
059,933.91 AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF
$25,993.39 FOR MODEL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
STREET IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated May 27 1976.
etWeen the City of Miatand Holland PavIng Company, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the work has been Satisfactorily completed and
Voaland Paving Company, Inc. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid
ie(full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public',
14Orks recommend that the completed work be accepted
payment made to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The completed work performed by Holland
Paving Company, Inc. for MODEL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
STREET IMPROVEMENTS at a total cost of $259,933.91 is hereby
anproved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are
hereby authorized to pay $25,993.39 to Holland Paving Company, Inc.
as full and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with MODEL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
STREET,IMPROVEMENTS.

Holland Paving Company, Inc. has completed the project consist
ing of constructing approximately 1.4 miles of streets on
N.W. 60 and 61 Streets from N.W. 12 to
17 Avenues and N.W. 13,
14 and 15 Avenues, between N.W. 60 and 62 Streets and included
Asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and gutters, concrete side—
walk, a covered ditch drail:a�,hsystem and landscaping. The
