On September 11, 1976, Bethune Cookman College played its first
"annual" exhibition football game in t•he Orange fowl. The
agreement between Bethune Cookman College and the City provided
for a minimum rental of $3,500 or the Orange Bowl tax as
authorized by City Code, :section 39-20, whichever is greater.
An audit for the event revealed the following:
