HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-77-0604MEA:BK 6/29/77 Att RESOLUTION NO. 77-604 A RESOLUTION DENYING THE CONDITIONAL USE AS LISTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE V, SECTION 1(h), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A DEVELOPMENT OF A PLANNED UNIT NATURE (PUN) ON LOTS 14 AND 15, BLOCK "D", BISCAYNE PARK TERRACE (2-36), BEING 2751-2765 S.W. 22ND AVENUE, CONSISTING OF 6 UNITS IN SIX SEPARATE STRUCTURES, AS PER PLANS ON FILE; ZONED R-1 (ONE FAMILY). WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of lute 20, 1977, Item No. 1, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 100-77 by a 6 to 1 vote (1 member abstaining) recommended denial of Conditional Use as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the best interests of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to deny the Conditional Use as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Conditional Use as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(h), to Hermit construction of a development of a Planned Unit Nature (PUN) on Lots 14 and 15, Block "D", Biscayne Park Terrace (2-36), being 2751-2765 S.W. 22nd Avenue, consisting of 6 units in six separate structures, as per plans on file; zoned R-1 (One Family), be and the same is hereby denied. The land use and character of the surrounding area is single family development and the proposed develop- ment will ha -re no significant impact on the services provided for the area. Deferred, May 2, 1977 to give the applicants additional time to meet with the neighborhood residents. Recommended Denial, June 20, 1977, Resolution ZB 100-77, by a 6-1 vote.
