WHEREAS, Resolution 77-172 ratified and approved the City 'Manager's
acceptance of the "Offer of grant" dated February 8, 1977 from the U. S.
Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, in an amount not
to exceed $3,758,187 for financial assistance in the renovating of the Dinner
Key Exposition Hall) and
WHEREAS, Dinner Key Bond Funds of $227,723 remain unappropriated)
and
WHEREAS, work has commenced on binner Key Exposition Hall renovations)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED 8Y THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 14 The following appropriations are hereby made from the
Dinner Key Exposition Hall Trust and Agency Fund Account for the purpose of
funding

The City Commission •adopted Resolution Na. 77-172 on February 14,
1977 accepting the attached "Offer of Grant" from the U. S.
Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, which
will provide financial assistance for renovation of the 'Dinner Key
Exposition Hall.
Attached is a proposed ordinance appropriating $3,758,187 received
from the U. S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development
Administration, and $227,723 from unappropriated Dinner Key Bond
funds.
It is recommended that the proposed ordinance be presented to the
City Commission for adoption, thereby appropriating required funds
for renovating the 'Dinner Key Exposition Hall.
