WHEREAS, the City of Miami has received a grant from the U. S
bepartment of Commerce, Economic bevelopment Administration not to exceed
the amount of $2,710,050 for the construction of a Heavy Equipment Service
Facility presently estimated to cost $2,710,0501

Section 1. The following appropriations are hereby made from the
Heavy Equipment Service Facility Trust and Agency Pund Account for the pur*.
pose of funding the construction of a City heavy equipment service facility,
as follows:

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they
inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed,
Section 4, If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provision -
of this ordinance Shall not be affected.

The City Commission adopted Resolution No. 77..121
on February 10, 1977 accepting the attached "Offer
of Grant" from the U. S. Department of Commerce,
Economic Development Administration, which will
provide funds for the construction of a Heavy Equip-
ment Service Facility.
Attached is a proposed ordinance appropriating $2,710,050
received from the U. S. Department of Commerce, Economic
Development Administration.
It is recommended that the proposed ordinance be presented
to the City Commission for adoption, thereby appropriating
required funds for the construction of the Heavy Equipment
Service Facility.

Offer Dates 1411.15.
Pursuant to its authority under the Local Public Works Capital
Development and investment Act of 1976 (P1L. 94.369) and subject
to the Special Conditions (Exhibit "A") and the Standard Terms
and Conditions (Exhibit "E-DPW", dated Povettmber 1, 1976) which
are herein incorporated by reference, the Economic Development
Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce (Government) offers
a Grant not to exceed 2)710,050 to the C3.ty of Mardi
Dade County, Florida,
(Grantee) to provide financial assistance for the construction
of a heavy eruipment service facility,
(Project) presently estimated to cost $ 2,713,050►
This Offer, the Acceptance, the Special Conditions, and the
Standard Terms and Conditions shall constitute the Grant Agree-
tent. Acceptance of this Offer must be returned to the Economic
Development Administration prior toe::., 4,c.
