A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MR. RICK
SISSER AS LEGISLATIVE LIAISON REPRESENTATIVE
TO REPRESENT THE CITY BEFORE ALL FLORIDA
STATE LEGISLATURE SESSIONS DEALING WITH CON-
STITUTIONAL REVISION DURING THE TERM OF SAID
AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF
$7, 000 AS A FEE FOR SAID SERVICE, PAYABLE WITH-
IN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER SUBMISSION OF INVOICES
OF WORK PERFORMED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS
AGREEMENT, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
OF $3, 000 TO COVER EXPENSES DURING THE TERM OF
THE AGREEMENT: SUCH AGREEMENT TO BE FUNDED
FROM THE SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS -
QUALITY OF LIFE PROGRAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into
an agreement with Mr. Rick Sisser as Legislative Liaison Representative,
to represent the City before all. Florida State Legislature sessions dealing
with constitutional revision during the term of said agreement.
Section Z. That the City Manager is authorized to pay the Represen-
tative $7, 000 as a fee for said service, payable within thirty (30) days after
submission of invoices of work performed under the terms of this Agree-
ment, to he funded from the Special Programs and Accounts - Quality of
Life Program.
Section 3. That the City Manager is further authorized to pay the
Representative $3, 000 to cover expenses during the term of the Agreement
to be funded from the Special Programs and Accounts.- Quality of Lige Pro-
gram.

Attached is:a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter
into an agreement with dick Sisser as legislative liaison to.
represent the City of Miami before the Florida State Legislature,:
for the session's dealing with constitutional revision.
The amount of the contract is for $7,000 for the professional
services to be rendered, and $3,000 to cover expenses during the
term of the agreement. Funding for this contract will be provided
from the contingency fund.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No, , the City
Commission has authorized and directed the City ,Manager and the

WHEREAS, the Representative has agreed to act in the
capacity of Constitutional Revision Liaison Representative,
acting on behalf of the. City of Miami, at all Florida Consti
tutional Revision Commission sessions: held during the term of
this Agreement and before any committees that may meet from time
to time during the term of this

(a) That in consideration of the performance of ` the afore-
mentioned services, the City shall compensate the Representative
in theamount 'of.$i,.000,00, payable within thirty'(50) days after
the submission of invoices of Work performed under the terms of
this Agreement and further authorizing the payment of $3,000.00
to corer expenses during the term of the Agreement; such Agreement
to be funded from the Contingency Fund.
(b) The City agrees that the checks for these services 'shall.
be mailed to the Representative at such address as the Representa-
tive may, in writing, direct by letter to the Finance Director, of
the City of Miami.
