The proposed project is the new construction of a single-family home for a qualified low -to -moderate income first-time homebuyer. This is affordable homeownership unit will be constructed on a vacant lot with City of Miami funding. The proposed structure has a limited budget which makes it cost prohibitive to install a flat tile roof versus a shingled roof. In addition, upon reviewing neighboring houses, the proposed shingle roof is compatible with surrounding homes.
