The attached proposed resolution seeks to authorize the City Attorney to proceed
with legal action, if necessary, to obtain possession of the City of Miami owned property
located at 1371 Northwest 61st Street, #2, Miami, Florida 33142 currently occupied by
Minisha Marshall.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION, IF NECESSARY, AGAINST
MINISHA MARSHALL LOCATED AT 1371 NORTHWEST 61 STREET, #2, MIAMI,
FLORIDA 33142 ("PROPERTY") TO OBTAIN POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY
AND SEEK ANY OTHER LEGAL REMEDIES AVAILABLE AT LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") owns the Property located at 1371 Northwest 61st
Street, #2, Miami, Florida 33142; and
WHEREAS, Minisha Marshall currently resides in the Property as a month -to -month
tenant;
WHEREAS, on February 9, 2026, the City delivered a notice to Ms. Marshall stating that
her tenancy shall terminate as of February 12, 2026; and
WHEREAS, as of February 12, 2026, Ms. Marshall has failed to vacate the Property;
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed with legal action, if necessary, against Ms.
Marshall, to obtain possession of the Property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Attorney is authorized' to proceed with legal action, if necessary,
against Minisha Marshall, to obtain possession of the Property and to seek any other available
legal remedies.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.
