r_ Morning Orientation Tour begins with a drive through the mein
thoroughfares of Tel Aviv passing the ZOA House, Mann Auditoriu ,
Habima Square and theatre, Helena Rubinstein Museum, the Shalom
Tower. Then through the colorful market of Jaffa where you will
visit the ancient port and picturesque alleys. B&Lance of day
at leisure to shop on the famous Dizengoff Street.
Miami Beach
Sister City visit to Ramat Gan, a suburb of Tel Aviv. It is the
diamond center of the world. A general tour of the city with a
visit to the Diamond Factory. Afternoon exchange visits with
people of similar profession. EVENING SISTER CITY CELEBRATION
of food, wine, Israeli folk music and dancing, also an exchange
of official greeting, and gifts.

Early morning departure for Moshav Me Ammi with a stop on the
way at Caesarea, the ancient port founded by Herod the Great in
22 B.C. On our stroll we will see the great Roman Theatre from
the time of Herod, the hippodrome, the huge aqueducts, the
fortified wails and the deep moat. We continue on for a tour
of the Moshav and Farm Lands. Lunch will be with various
families. EVENING SISTER CITY CELEBRATION of food, wine and
Israeli folk music and dancing, and an exchange of official
greeting and gifts. Also a time for sharing with questions and
answers. Overnite in the Guest House in the Moshav or the Dan
Caesarea Hotel in Caesarea.
Miami Beach
Depart Tel Aviv for Rehovot where we will tour the famous wine
cellar. Our next stop will be the Weizma m Institute, well
known center for the sciences in Israel. We will continue on
through Ashdod and Ashquelon to Beersheba, the southern limit
of Old Testament Palestine. Here we visit a Bedouin Market.
Our next stop, Arad, is a new town which has sprung up in the
desert during the last few years. From here we approach Massada
by the ancient Roman Ramp and visit the magnificent ruins of the
fortress, where from 70-73 A.D. the Jewish defenders made the
last stand of the Judean revolt against Rome. We descend

city of Jericho and view the Mount of Temptation.

Today we drive through the Hills of Samaria, the Valley of
Jozreel and the Plain of Sharon. We visit Megiddo, Biblical
Armageddon, on the plain of Esdraelon. We see Solomon's
Stables, the Tower and famous Secret Passage and other ex-
cavations before proceeding to the port city of Haifa, with
its picturesque Bay, Bahai shrine and Persian Gardens. We
continue on to Acco, a once great Phoenician Port and on
through the mystical center. of Safed to Tiberias. After
lunch in a Kibbutz, we board a motor coach for a cruise of
the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum. After our visit to the
ruins of the 2nd century synagogue, we proceed to Tabgha,
place of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, St.
Peter's Church and the Mount of Beatitudes. Our next stop
is at the Magdala home of Mary Magdalene before we leave
the land of Gennesarot via the Horns of Hattin to Cana of
Galilee. Then, pass the "Hill of Precipitation" into
Nazareth for visits to the Chamber of Annunciation and Mary's
Well. During the day we will proceed to the Jordan River.
Now we continue south thru the land of Samaria and the
ancient cities of Sebastia, Nablus and Shechem. We arrive
in Jerusalem in time for supper and overnite.
Today there will be a sightseeing tour of the Old City. You
will enter through the Jaffa Gate via David's Tower and the
Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Ascend Temple Mount to
see the fabulous Dome of the Rock and Al-Agsa Mosques.
Continue along the Via Dolorosa to thn Church of the Holy
Sepulchre and through the Christian Quarter to the Jaffa
Gate. In the afternoon visit Bethlehem. See Rachel's Tomb,
the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd's Field. Continue
to Hebron for a visit to the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Return
to Jerusalem for overnight.
In the morning visit Mt. Scopus and the Mt. of Olives for a
breathtaking view of Jerusalem, the Hills of Moab and the
Dead Sea. Sightseeing of the New City includes the Israel
Museum where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed; the
new Knesset Building (Israel Parliament), the Hebrew Univer-
sity, Yad Vashem and Hadassah Medical Center where you find
the Chagall stained glass windows. Proceed to Mt. Zion,
see the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
