A'RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND APPROVING A ONE
YEAR EXTENSION OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE
OF 73 FOR HARRY PEARLMAN, WATCHMAN Oi~
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC FACILITIES, EFFECTIVE
MAY 28, 1977 THROUGH MAY 27, 1978, WITH
PROVISION THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACt
OR LAYOFF, MR, PEARLMAN RATHER THAN A
JUNIOR EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED.
WHEREAS, the CiVi1 SerVice Board, on May 24, 197/,
Unanimously recommended the approval of employment past the
age of 73 for HARRY PEARLMAN, watchman, Department of Public
Facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said HARRY PEARLMAN is satisfactory for
continued employment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The granting of a one year extension of
employment past the age of 73 for HARRY PEARLMAN, Watchman, Depart-
ment of Public Facilities, effective May 23, 1977 through May 27,
1978 is hereby ratified and approved, with the provision that in
the event of a rollback or layoff, MR. PEARLMAN, rather than a
junior employee, would be affected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21 day of JUNE ► 1977.

found Pearlman physically qualified to continue employment for the additional year.
Lad Board voted to approve the request, with the provision that in the event of a:roll-
back or layoff, Mt. Pearltaan, rather than a junior employee, would be affected, noting
