LOCATED AT 2234 S.W. 8TH STREET AS PER PLANS
ON PILE, WAIVING 22 OF 22 REOUIRED OFF-STREET
PARKING SPACES; ZONED C-4 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL),,
GRANTED BY ZONING BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 7B 187-76,
WHEREAS, Article XXXI. of the Comprehensive Zonih
ordinance No, 6871 permits an extension of a variance by the
City Manager with approval by the City Commi
ssion for a one
year period; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends a one-year
extension of the variance granted by Zoning Board Resolution
No, ZB 187-76;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for a one-year extension of
the variance granted from Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXIII,
Section 4(25)(27), to permit construction of a storage area
addition on Lots 13 thru 16, Block 1; BRYAN PARK (5-69) LOCATED
at 2234 S.W. 8th Street as per plans on file, waiving 22 of 22
required off-street parking spaces; zoned C-4 (General Commercial)
granted by Zoning Board Resolution No. ZB 187-76, be and the same,
is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16TH day of DUNE
1977

ARTICLE XX CI of the Comprehensive Zoning ordinance No. 6871
provides that any Variance shall expire six months after the
effective date of the Variance unless a Building Permit or a
Certificate of Use has been issued based upon the Variance. The
Ordinance further provides that the City Manager may, after review
and determination that substantial progress has been achieved
by the applicant in terms of project planning, extend the expira-
tion date of the Variance for an additional period of time not to
exceed one year, subject to approval of the City Commission.
This Department finds no objection to the granting of the extension
of time for this Variance.
We are requesting the City Attorney's office, by copy of this memo,
to prepare the proper Resolution for this extension.
