ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM TITLE X
$AYFRONT PARK FUNDS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT TO
ISSUE A CHANGE ORDER FOR THIS INCREASE.
WHEREAS, Resolution no. 77-44, passed on January 130
1977, accepted the bid of S. Ponce for furnishing 120' of Cir-
cular concept sea wall seats for BAYFRONT PARK OF THE AMERICAS; and
WIIEREAS, the architect has made changes in the road layouts
increasing the lineal footage of the Park's North Plaza perimeter;
WHEREAS, this increase requires an additional 30 lineal feet
seating in order to keep the original design intent; and
WHEREAS, the additional seating will increase the cost by
total amount of $1,800;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The purchase of an additional 30 lineal feet of
concrete sea wall seating for BAYFRONT PARK OF THE AMERICAS at a cost
of $60 per foot, amounting to a total cost of $1,800, from S. Ponce
is hereby approved with funds therefor hereby allocated from the
Title X - Bayfront Park Funds for the Department of Parks and
Recreation.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to instruct
Purchasing Agent to issue the Change Order for the above increased
amount of seating.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9 day of JUNE , 1977.

Since that time, the architecthas made changes in the

it is necessary to add 30 linealfeet al a cost of;.

It is recommended that you approve' the increase in cost
ih order' to conform to the new road layoutsas this ui11
enlarge the North Plaza as. Well as retain the, existing
trees within the Park v ithout relocation.
A resolution has been prepared and forwarded to the Law,
Department confirming your 'approval of the increase.
