DOLLARS FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, AND ALLOCATING THIRTY SIX THOUSAND ($36,000.00) DOLLARS FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOP= MENT FUNDS TO COVER THE COST OF ACQUISITION OF FEE SIMPLE TITLE TO THIS PROPERTY AND OTHER COSTS INCIDENTAL TO THE ACQUISITION. WHEREAS) the property located at 2568 Northwest 31st Street, Miami, Florida, consisting of a single family residence, is proposed to be acquired for the expansion of Melrose Park for use by the citizens of the Melrose area; and WHEREAS, said residence contains 1396 square feet of living area plus an enclosed rear porch of 88 square feet, and a carport contain- ing 124 square feet, the lot size being 50' x 137.5', which is 6,875 square feet; and WHEREAS, the Office of Community Development has approved the acquisition of this property to provide for expansion in the Melrose area and concurs with the recommendation to acquire this parcel; and WHEREAS, the necessary monies for said acquisition are available in the second year funding of Community Development Projects; and WHEREAS, this acquisition is in accordance with the Land Acquisition Policies under Community Development Programs, which include cost of relocation assistance, if required, as detailed in HUD Handbook 1320.1 Real Property Acquisitions; and WHEREAS, the owner of the property has, by Agreement dated the 9th day of May, 1977, offered to convey fee simple title to this property to the City of Miami, Florida, for the appraised price of Thirty Five Thousand ($35,000.00) Dollars; and Fog 1. of 2.
