Section 2: That the purposesof this committee are: To study and develop plans for the improvement health, safety THE ;COMMISSION. To encourage the acquisition, placing works of art in the City of Miami. 4. To protect and to encourage the preservation of the natural plant and wildlife environment in the Miami Area. 5. Section 4: That there which thereafter' shall shall be a spec ally es dignated class of committee members called "Associate Members'', unlimited in number, who shall be selected by vote of a majority o Official Membership to serve for an indefinite term. Section 5: That the Official Members of the Committee f the shall; by majority vote elect the Chairperson and enact its own rules of procedure not inconsistent with Roberts Rules of Order. Time, place and frequency of meetings which shall be public shall be determined by the Chairperson. Section 6: That each committee member must be o or have business or significant cultural interests f Miami City of a resident in the Miami. Section '7 That the terms of membership on this committee shall be five years from the date of each Official Member's appoint- ment or reappointment. Re -appointments and appointment to fill vacancies shall be made only at the first commission meeting in June and at no other time.
