WHEREAS, 24 additional lifeguard positions are required to
staff City pools during the statruter MonthS; and '
WHEREAS, $40,000 tOas provided in 1976-77 appropriations as a
reserve for the SuMmer Recreation Program; and
WHEREAS, additional funds of $50,778, aVailable in the Contingency
Fund, are required to fully fund the SumMer Recreation Progratro
NOW, THEREFORE, I3E IT RESOLVED BY THE OOMMISSION or THE CIT'Y OF
• MIAhlI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is atithorized to transfer $50,778
from the Contingency Fund to Special Programs and Accounts, Reserve for
•Special Programs --- Summer Recreation Program. ,

for the State -sponsored Summer Lunch Program.,
