HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-77-0465RttottiTtoN NOS 77-465 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSAL OP SACHE/FREEMAN A- OCIATES, INC, IN THE AMOUNT 61'1' '28,488 FOR CONDUCTING A LIMITED TECHNICAL STUbY OF THE CITY'S COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM EQUALLY ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE POLICE HEAD- QUARTERS CRIME PREVENTION FACILITY BOND FUND AND THE FIRE FIGHTING, FIRE PREVENTION AND RESCUE FACILITIES BOND FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH SACHS/FREEMAN ASSOCIATES, INC. WHEREAS, proposals were received on April 28# 1977 to limited technical study of the City's Communications System; pursuant to Resolution No. 77-290, passed on March 24, 1977; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the proposal Sachs/Freeman Associates, Inc. to conduct said technical study be accepted as it is the most advantageous bid to the City; and WHEREAS, the limited technical study will be mutually beneficial to both the Police and Fire Departments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OP THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The proposal of Sachs/Freeman Associates, Inc. in the amount of $2E,488 for conducting a limited technical study of the City's Communications System is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Sachs/Freeman Associates, Inc. in substantial compliance with said proposal. Section 2. Funding for said technical study is hereby equally allocated from the rolice Headquarters Crime Prevention Facility Bond Fund and from the Bond Fund.
