AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 8399, AS AMENDED, THE APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE POR FISCAL YEAR 1976-77, ADOPTED NOVEMHER 11, 1976, 8Y AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 4 THEREOF PROVIDING POR THE INCREASE OP GENERAL PUND REVENUES IN THE AMOUNT OP $ 2 3, 7 9 2 PROM SOURCES OTHER THAN AD VALOREM TAX AND TO INCLUDE ANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OP $23,792 CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERAEILITY CLAUSE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OP THE CITY OP MIAMI, PLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8589, as amended, adopted November 11, 1976, the annual appropriation ordinance for fiscal year 1976-77 is hereby further amended in the following particu- 1/ bars:` "Section 1. The following appropriations are made for the carrying on of the municipal purposes of the City of Miami, Florida, for the fiscal year 1976-77# including the payment of principal and interest on all General obligation Bonds. If any section, part of section, paragraph, -clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinance insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section S. The foregoing ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preserva- tion of peace, health, safety and property of the City of Miami, and to meet appropriations made. Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a four -fifths vote of the members of the Commission.
