A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIb of KEY POWER SYSTEMS, INC.
FOR Et1RNISHING ONE DIESEL ENGINE FOR THE DEPARTMENT of
PIKE AT A COST OF $6,195.00;,ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE
GENERAL FUND -CAPITAL OUTLAY-1976-1977 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE PURCHASING AGENT TO
ISSUE THE PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hotioa, seslod bids here tebeivet

bppartment of rice; the
WHEREAS, invitatiohs'Were
pliers and three bids were received; and
WHEREAS, funds rot this purchase are available,ih the Gen-
eral•Fund, Capital Outlay, 1976-1977 Fiscal Year Budget; and'.
WHEREAS, this equipment will be used by the Department o
Fire for the purpose of replacing an obsolete engine in Fire:
Apparatus #13; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Fire recom-
mend that the bid received from Key Power Systems, Inc.
accepted as the most advantageous bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMMISSION OF THE;
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The March 30, 1977 bid of Key Power Systems,
for furnishing one diesel engine at a total cost of $6,195.00 is
hereby accepted with funds hereby allocated from the General Fund
Capital Outlay-1976-1977 Fiscal. Year Budget.of the Department of
Fire
Section 2. That, the City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Agent to issue the Purchase Order for this
equipment.

The diee1 engine .will replace the engine on Fire Appar-
atus #13 which is: obsolete and parts are no longer avail-
able.
It is requested that the award be made and a resolution
be prepared accepting the most advantageous bid as re-
ceived from Key Power Systems,.. Inc. for furnishing one
diesel engine.. for the Department of Fire at a total cost
of $6,195.00
