WHEREAS pur9uaht.to public notiCe April`'�', 1977 for the furnishing of two high pressure steam cleaners for the Department of Public Properties; and AHEREAS, invitations were mailed to tienty.`potehtia1 suppliers and five bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this•purchase are available in tho 1976 1977 Fiscal Year. Budget; and WHEREAS, this equipment will be Used 'by the Departmertt.i Public Properties for the purpose of steam cleaning heavy duty engines and equipment; and WHEREAS, the City !Manager and the Department. of Public Properties recommend that the bid received from Ceco Chemical Manufacturing be accepted as the most advantageous bid City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. COMMISSION OF THE CITY DF MIAMI,.FLORIDA; Section 1. The purchase of high pressure steam cleaners'is necessary at:this time due to the closing of Incinerator:#1 which previously supplied the steam needed to clean heavy duty engines and equipment. It is requested that the award be made and a resolution be prepared accepting the most advantageous bid as re- ceived frorn Coco Chemical Manufacturing for furnishing two high pressure steam cleaners for the Department of Public Properties at a total cost of $5,778.00. The Department of Public Properties concurs with this recommendation.
