WIIEREAS,'the City ,Corrltriission.authorized an agreement tt+ith Alber•
14erez, ASLA, by Resolution No. '77-162 dated February 24, 1977, to provitl
professional landscape architectural design services for the beautification of
Cuban Memorial Plaza and Memorial Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the Little Havana Target Area residents have reviewed the
schematic design; and
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1977, the consulting landscape architect, Mr.
Perez, has presented the schematic design to the City Comrriission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the schematic design (Phase I) for the beautification of
Cuban Memorial Plaza and Memorial Boulevard (SW 13th Avenue from SW 8th
to SW llth Streets), as presented this date by the consulting landscape architect,
be and it is hereby accepted in principle.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28 day of APR I L , 1977.

approved a contract for design services for the project with Mr. Albert

Mr. Perez will present theschematic design` for the project.
It is. now .recommended that the Commission accept in principle the schematic
design.
