A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN AD HOC ADVISORY
COMMITTEE POR THE COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE
INDIVIDUALS TO SERVE ON THE COMMITTEE; DESIG-
NATING THE FUNCTION OP THE AD HOC COMMITTEE;
AND PROVIDING THAT THE COMMITTEE BE DISSOLVED
ON COMPLETION OF THE DESIGN FOR THE COCONUT
GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DIS-
TRICT,
WHEREAS, at the Commission meeting of February 24, 1977,
Resolution No, 77-160 was passed, which confirmed the Coconut
Grove Business Area Highway Improvement District; and
WHEREAS, the residents and property owners of Coconut Grove
are vitally concerned with this improvement; and
WHEREAS, a number of those residents and property owners
have shown a willingness to lend their expertise to the design
of this improvement; and
WHEREAS, these individuals have also agreed to serve at no
cost to the City of Miami;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That an ad hoc citizens' advisory committee be
established for the Coconut Grove Business Area Highway Improvement
District.
Section 2. That this committee as appointed by the City Com-
mission be composed of the following:
Mr. Kenneth Triester
Mr. Lester Pancoast
Father Hingston
Mr. Robert Fishko
Mr. Henry Alexander
Mr. Michael Simonhoff
Ms. Lorraine Prince
Mr, Claire Filer
Mr, Fred Stanton Smith

Section 1. That the function of this committee shall be
to coordinate closely with the Department of Public Works in
developing a design concept in keeping with the Grove area.
Section 4 That on completion of the design for this pro-
ject this committee shall be dissolved.
